Jack Ronalds has been a fixture in local photography for thirty-eight years. The beauty, serenity and surprises of the scenery of eastern Nova Scotia, in all seasons, have always held a special appeal for him.

Of late, Jack's interests have included photographing the marine traffic seen daily in the Strait of Canso.

A representation of Jack's work, marine and local scenes, is on display in this show.  They are printed on  canvas giclees.

Based out of Toronto, Royal Wood will be taking his natural talent for the piano, and beautiful vocals to the stage in the Shannon Studio. His latest release, We Were Born to Glory holds an old time vibe that showcases the beautiful quality of piano-based music and the simple pleasure of listening to a pure, untouched vocal performance. A more mature Pop sound, Royal Wood will bring a sense of wisdom and a well-executed musical compilation that suggests he is not only capable of playing, but also excels at combining melodies, harmonies and vocal lines into something of substance.
Royal Wood continues to push his musical ability by adding layers of harmonies, rhythmic drumming and strings.   Royal’s performance in the Shannon Studio , May 1at 7:30 p.m. is presented by 1015 The Hawk, The Reporter, Maritime Inns and the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre. Tickets can be purchased online at Online Ticket Sales or by contacting the box office at (902)625-2591
